If a Board member is approached by a staff member with a grievance the procedure is as follows:

 

1.  Direct staff member to speak to their relevant program manager

2.  If the above is not applicable direct the staff member to speak to Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

3.  If the complaint concerns the CEO direct the staff member to speak to the Chairperson of the Board.

 

Circumstances will dictate the amount of support given to the staff member by the Board director. The staff member may be comfortable to approach the Chairperson or may prefer support in doing this.
